Bose QuietComfort 2nd Gen Review, the Cable Finally Beats the Radio

Bose put lossless USB-C audio and TrueSpatial in a $359 pair of headphones and left the Bluetooth stuck on AAC. After a week of listening, the wire is the better signal path, and that changes what these are for.
