Live performances and conversations come to Spotify
Spotify launched CLOSER today, giving K-Music fans a video series that combines live music with conversations about the artists behind it (opens in a new tab). Hearts2Hearts is the opening act, with a Seoul recording that brings two songs’ first-ever live performances and an acoustic rendition to viewers on Spotify.

The CLOSER playlist is the place to find the series, which Spotify describes as an exclusive showcase for Korean artists and their stories. Its format puts a live set ahead of a conversation, with each featured artist discussing their music, creative life and experiences away from performing.
Spotify says videos featuring ALLDAY PROJECT and LNGSHOT will follow soon, alongside other artists. Hearts2Hearts begins that lineup after debuting in February 2025, with monthly Spotify streams that the company says have increased nearly 20 times since the group’s debut.
What Hearts2Hearts fans can watch
The Seoul show footage includes the first live outings for “Baby Steps” and “ICONIC HEART (Korean Version),” giving fans performance versions of both tracks within the opening CLOSER selection. “Butterflies” appears in a special acoustic arrangement, adding another version of the group’s music to the videos filmed at the event.
An accompanying conversation with the members was also recorded during the Seoul event, so the opening selection includes spoken material alongside the songs. Hearts2Hearts has accumulated more than 530 million streams this year, according to Spotify, while “RUDE !” is its most-streamed track with more than 180 million streams.
