Kickstarter prices and screen delivery timing
XGIMI opened Kickstarter pledges today for AURA 3 Max at $2,399 and AURA 3 Pro at $2,199, bringing 4K 120Hz playback to two ultra-short-throw projectors (opens in a new tab). XGIMI says their 0.163:1 throw ratio produces a 120-inch picture at approximately eight inches, with image sizes extending to 200 inches.

- Kickstarter pledges open now; XGIMI expects projector shipping to begin in December 2026
XGIMI expects to start shipping projectors in December 2026, with fixed ALR screens following in January 2027 and XGIMI Ascend floor-rising screens in February 2027. Pledge order determines shipping order. A bundle combining AURA 3 Max with a 120-inch Fresnel ALR Screen costs $3,699 on Kickstarter, while the 100-inch XGIMI Ascend UST bundle costs $4,299.
Customers from the $50 reservation campaign retain an additional $200 cash back benefit, making their net prices $2,199 for AURA 3 Max and $1,999 for AURA 3 Pro. XGIMI asks those customers to match their Kickstarter email to their reservation email so it can match the discount and refund correctly.
Connecting a console or soundbar
Each model has three HDMI ports, but 4K 120Hz input is supported on HDMI2 and HDMI3. HDMI2 also supports eARC for an audio connection, and XGIMI specifies an Ultra High Speed HDMI cable for 4K 120Hz input. Optical output, USB playback and Gigabit LAN provide additional connection options.
XGIMI rates AURA 3 Max brightness at up to 5,700 ISO lumens, compared with 4,100 ISO lumens for AURA 3 Pro. Native contrast is rated at up to 8,000:1 and up to 7,000:1, respectively. AURA 3 Max includes Google TV and 80W Harman Kardon speakers supporting Dolby Atmos, plus two pairs of glasses for 3D viewing.
For a projector and screen purchase, plan around separate shipping windows: XGIMI expects fixed ALR screens and XGIMI Ascend floor-rising screens to start shipping after the projectors.
