Klipsch's The Three Plus is a powered 2.1 speaker for a turntable and for wireless streaming, so one box can handle both. The phono and RCA inputs let a turntable plug in directly, and Bluetooth 5.3 carries your phone or tablet from up to 40 feet.
We'd consider The Three Plus a strong fit if you want a tabletop system that already has a turntable input and room for a subwoofer, since the two 2.25-inch full-range drivers and 5.25-inch high-excursion woofer are biamplified to fill larger spaces. The US price is $199.99, about 17% below the typical $240.78 over the last 90 days.
Connecting your turntable and other sources
The phono/RCA inputs are the key detail for vinyl, and they mean you won't need a separate phono preamp if your turntable lacks one. USB-C handles playback from a device and can reverse charge it, so a phone or player can stay topped up while it feeds the speaker.
Klipsch's Connect app covers EQ, presets and firmware updates, and Broadcast Mode links ten or more Three Plus units for a whole-home spread. Before ordering, confirm what your turntable outputs: if it's line level, use the RCA path; if it's phono level, use the phono input.
When this speaker suits the room and when to skip it
This is a tabletop design with real wood veneer and tactile knobs, so it belongs on a shelf, sideboard or console where the 2.1 drivers can fill a living room, den or open kitchen. If you want one system for records and phone streaming without a receiver or separate speakers, the mix of inputs and Bluetooth makes that straightforward.
The 282 reviews average 4.2 stars, a sign the speaker works for many buyers but isn't universally loved. Skip it if you need a fully portable speaker, if you expect room correction beyond what the app offers, or if your turntable needs a specific connection this speaker doesn't list.
We'd consider the $199.99 price a fair entry into a turntable-ready setup, since it's below the typical $240.78 of the last 90 days.
Check your room's outlet and cable reach before placing it, and decide whether the matte black finish suits your space.
