If your day includes commuting, deep-focus work, or long calls, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones are built to quiet the room and adapt audio to your ears. CustomTune shapes sound to your hearing, and Immersion Mode pairs full noise cancellation with Bose Immersive Audio. That matters when you want music, podcasts, or games to feel closer without pushing the volume.
We'd consider these for anyone who wants one pair to cover loud rooms and quiet ones. Quiet Mode, Aware Mode, and Immersion Mode let you switch quickly between blocking the world out and staying aware of it.
How audio gets from your device to the headphones
Bluetooth 5.3 connects within about 30 feet of your phone, tablet, or computer, so you can leave the source in a bag or on a desk. Microphones pick up your voice and filter background noise during calls. Touch controls on each earcup change volume, skip tracks, answer calls, and switch modes without reaching for your phone.
If you own a Bose smart soundbar, SimpleSync sends TV audio to the headphones so you can watch at your own volume. Confirm your soundbar supports SimpleSync, and check which Bluetooth codecs your source device handles before you buy.
Where these headphones fit and when to pass
These over-ear headphones suit a shared living room, a busy office, or a flight where you want to drop into audio. Soft ear cushions and even band pressure are meant for longer sessions, and the Deep Plum limited color gives them a distinct look. Battery life reaches up to 24 hours, or up to 18 hours with Immersive Audio, and a 15-minute charge delivers up to 2.5 hours of playback.
At $329.00, you're paying about 6% under the typical price over the last 90 days. If you want a wired path for lossless listening, verify whether your preferred cable works here. And if you plan to keep spatial audio on, budget around the shorter 18-hour figure.
From source to room: match the QuietComfort Ultra to a phone, tablet, or computer within 30 feet, and use SimpleSync only with a compatible Bose smart soundbar.
Treat the Deep Plum finish as a limited color choice, not a performance upgrade.
