Call it the Beat Boom and the pitch gets clearer. ERKEI SEHN built this grass green Bluetooth speaker for the places where a phone speaker gives up, and the waterproof rating backs that up. It survives rain, spills and splashes, and the company says it can sit underwater at a depth of 3.3 feet for as long as 30 minutes.
We'd consider it for pool decks, campsites, hikes and bike rides where the rounded triangular shape can handle a knock or a drop. Two drivers push up to 50W of peak output, and the specs list a built-in microphone, a Type-C charging port and an AUX jack. What they don't list is a weight, so check that before you plan to carry it far.
Bluetooth 5.3, a Second Speaker and the Light Button
Streaming runs over Bluetooth 5.3, and ERKEI SEHN rates the wireless range at up to 100 feet from your device. From there you have two choices worth knowing before you buy. A short press of the Light Button switches on the multi-color LEDs, which sync to the beat, and switching them off stretches the battery.
The other choice is dual pairing. Connect two of these speakers over Bluetooth and they play the same track in sync, doubling the volume and spreading the sound into stereo. That only makes sense if you plan to buy a second unit, so decide that up front rather than after the first one arrives.
Where a 50W Portable Speaker Fits and Where It Doesn't
This is a party speaker for a patio, a garage or a hotel balcony, not a fixed piece of living room hi-fi. A full charge is rated to last as long as 24 hours, though the company notes volume, audio content and use all pull that number down. Turning off the light show helps on that front too.
Our advice is to buy it if you want one portable box that shrugs off water, takes calls through its microphone and can grow into a stereo pair. We'd skip it if you need to fill a large open room, because nothing here speaks to room calibration, app EQ or multi-room audio. Before ordering, confirm your phone or tablet supports Bluetooth 5.3 and that you're happy with a Type-C charge.
Ask yourself two questions first. Do you need Bluetooth 5.3 on the sending device? Is a wired AUX source part of the plan?
Peak power is not the same as continuous output, so treat 50W as the ceiling the amplifier can reach rather than a loudness guarantee.
