The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth Headphones (2nd Gen) suit listeners who move between music, calls and video without swapping gear. CustomTune analyzes your ears and adapts audio performance to their shape, so the sound is tailored to you rather than a preset.
You get spatialized audio that places sound in front of you, and Cinema Mode rebalances background and effects for movies. A USB-C connection turns the built-in mic into a two-way link for conference calls.
At $369.00, we'd consider this a strong window for buyers who want spatial listening and strong noise cancelling in one pair. That's $53.20 below the typical price over the last 90 days, which works out to about 13 percent, and it matches the lowest price we've seen.
Connecting over Bluetooth or USB-C
Bluetooth Core 5.4 covers up to 30 feet from your device, so you can leave a phone or laptop on a desk and still move around the room. For video calls, USB-C carries your voice through the built-in mic while the noise-rejecting array and AI suppression filter background noise.
Quiet Mode shuts out the room, Aware Mode lets conversation back in, and Immersion Mode blends noise cancelling with Bose Immersive Audio. The Bose app handles firmware updates and access to new features, so check your phone's compatibility before buying if you rely on app controls.
Which rooms and routines suit these headphones
Plush cushions and a metal headband spread pressure for long sessions, and up to 30 hours of play time keeps the music going. With Immersive Audio on, the rated battery is shorter, so a long day of spatial listening may need a charge before it ends.
A traveler sharing a cabin or an open-plan worker who needs Quiet Mode will get the most from these. If your priority is a wired, low-latency link for competitive gaming, check whether your source supports USB-C audio before buying, since Bluetooth latency may not suit that routine.
The Midnight Violet finish is a limited edition, so confirm the color is still in stock if that's what draws you here.
Specs: Model 890101-0300, Color Midnight Violet, Bluetooth Core 5.4, up to 30 feet of range, up to 30 hours of play time, 4.3 stars from 2,947 ratings.
Check your source device supports USB-C audio if you want wired voice for calls or low-latency listening.
If long battery life without spatial processing matters most, expect Immersive Audio to shorten playback from the top figure.
