The CMF BY Nothing Headphone Pro Active Noise Canceling is an over-ear Bluetooth 5.4 headset for commutes, long work sessions and casual listening at home. Its adaptive noise cancellation cuts up to 40 dB, and one press on the ANC button switches to Transparency Mode when you need to hear what's around you.
A 50-hour ANC-on playtime rating means the battery can carry you through a full week of workdays before you reach for a cable, which suits desk workers and frequent flyers who would rather not think about charging. We'd consider these a strong fit if noise cancellation and battery life sit at the top of your list, and the 1,942 reviews back that call.
The light green finish and standard size round out a headset built for everyday wear rather than studio reference work.
How your phone, laptop and apps connect
Pairing runs over Bluetooth 5.4, and the headset supports the LDAC codec alongside dual Hi-Res certification, so an Android phone that can send LDAC has a path to higher-resolution streaming. iPhone and iPad users pair over standard Bluetooth audio instead, so check which codecs your phone actually sends before you buy for Hi-Res.
Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair are built in, which shortens the first connection on Android and Windows machines. If you also listen from a Mac, an AUX connection covers devices that do not pair.
Deeper tuning lives in the Nothing X app, with a bass and treble slider, a custom EQ, a personal sound profile and CMF Spatial Audio. Check that the app is available for your phone's platform before you plan around those controls.
Where these headphones make sense and when to skip
These suit a commute, an open-plan office or a shared living room where 40 dB of adaptive cancellation can pull down steady background noise. The padded earcups and headband are built for long sessions, so a full workday or a stack of podcasts is the routine they're designed around.
At $59.00 they sit below the typical price over the last 90 days of $73.05, and that is an all-time low. The 1,942 reviews add a second layer of reassurance for a first noise-canceling pair.
Pass if LDAC is why you're buying and your source is an iPhone, since the codec only helps with an LDAC-capable player. Also pass if a wired-only connection or a traditional mid-range tuning matters more than app-based sound shaping.
Now at $59.00, an all-time low and below the typical last-90-day price of $73.05.
Battery rating reaches 50 hours with ANC on, so charging is a weekly task for most listeners.
Compatibility check: LDAC needs an LDAC-capable source, and the Nothing X app needs a supported phone platform.
